I
create
comms

I specialise in working with organisations that seek positive change in the world. For more than 20 years I’ve worked on a wide array of projects incorporating all aspects of film production and digital campaigns. In between all that I’ve also picked up many supporting skills.
In recent years, I’ve focused on communications management, spending two years as Marketing and Communications Officer at Trinity College Bristol, and now running comms at Fresh Expressions since summer 2022, while continuing to take on occasional freelance projects.
I started as an editor over 20 years ago, gaining experience in other areas of production and post-production all the way through to being a director and producer for a small production company. In 2010, I took a very different direction and I went to work for the international development charity Tearfund where my view of the world was changed entirely.  The experience showed me the importance of our role in the world and the impact we can have on it.
I’ve been married to Ruth for over 15 years; she’s an ordained priest in the Church of England, and together we have boy–girl twins.
My work ethic is inspired by the teachings of Jesus who said that one of the most important things to do is to “Love other people.” I interpret that to mean using my skillset to make the world a better place to the very best of my abilities.
