The guys at Tandem sent me out to Doha last week to work with their client Greenline productions for some time-lapse stuff. The job was to install three new systems at different locations and to carry out some maintenance on two older units which was supposed to take three days but which took four days in the end.

I was there two years ago at the start of the Doha Land project to install the first system so it was great to see the progress that has been made. The project itself is, well here’s a quote from their site:

The project is a 35-hectare site which will transform the architectural centre of the capital city, recreating a way of living that is rooted in Qatari culture. This project will be recognised worldwide as defining a new architectural language for the 21st century.

My hotel room was right on top of the project so I decided to try to get some quick time-lapse of the site and I also got attempted a time-lapse of us installing two of the systems but my battery didn’t last long enough.

It was a good trip, the clients were pleased and great fun to work with.
